A while ago I was asked to take some photos of a new commercial dance class run by Steph Lindt at the Collective School of Dance in Rickmansworth. It was quite a departure from the babies I’d been photographing up until that point but was a lot of fun.
I MUCH prefer photographing other people working hard to joining in and getting sweaty myself!
Steph is currently working in Morocco, choreographing new shows for The Lotus Club in Marrakech but will be back teaching commercial dance and fitness classes in September. Check out the Collective Fit website for full details.
The website is finally up and running! I’m so excited to finally be able to share what I’ve spent the past six months preparing. Thanks to my web designer, Jeanius, I now have a bright, clear and (though I say so myself) professional looking site to display my images and services.
To start off my blog in it’s new home I thought I’d share some images from a photoshoot of some baby ballerinas I did the other day. Little Darlings Ballet is a fairly new dance school offering parent participation classes for children aged 18 – 36 months in Mill Hill, London. Lindsay, the owner, contacted me to get some new images to go on her website.
It was a lovely morning surrounded by little girls in tutu skirts; using princess crowns, pom poms and all sorts of other props to navigate their way through some basic ballet techniques. They had a great time and here are some of the images I captured!
